Portrait of Adam Jatho, Ida Sophie Jatho, and their family, Victoria, Texas

The Adam jatho family consisted of nine children, seven of whom are represented in thie portrait estimated to be from the early 1880s. The family donated a number of photos and documents to the Victoria Regional History Center, one of which was a photo, taken about 1922, of our New Orleans ancestor Norwood Jatho and his two sons Norwood and Kenneth Hodges. This suggests that the two Jatho families believed there was a connection and were on cordial terms although parish records and DNA have not yet confirmed this connection.
