Henry Jatho, eldest son of August jatho and Sophia Sartor, Callaway County, Missouri

Year: 1892 • Collection: Jatho

Henry was part of our Jatho clan who emigrated to Callaway County, Missouri. He was born in Missouri and poses here for his marriage or pre-marriage portrait in the town of Fulton. His bride, Sarah "Sallie" Frances Herring, can be seen in another photo in our collection. The Missouri Jatho family can be traced back to Dransfeld, Hannover, where our direct Jatho ancestors lived. Martland Studios captured this majestic pose.
