Unknown lady from Charleston, South Carolina, daguerreotype in a gold case

Year: 1870 • Collection: Müller

This portrait was in the collection of one of our cousins who has both Müller and Amme ancestry, and the subject could be related to either family. Carl Louis Henry Müller, known as Louis, married Mary Rebecca Louisa Amme in 1868 in Charleston. The lady pictured could be her mother Anna Catharina Maria/Amalia Kiesieck Amme, but it's unmarked and we can only guess.
