Jacoba Lommel Müller was the mother of Rev. Ludwig Müller from Fischbach and Charleston, who emigrated to the U.S in the 1850s. This is an early example of the photographic process, an ambrotype in a metal frame. Its identification is tentative based on the age of the lady and her clothing style.
