Rosa Anna Sippel was the daughter of Adam and Amelia Sippel. She was engaged to John Schuchmann of Carlyle, Illinois, son of George Augustus Schuchmann and Elisabetha Magdalena Geold. The Schuchmans are distant cousins of our Hesse-Darmstadt Schuchmanns who emigrated to Charleston, South Carolina.
