Jane was also mother-in-law of Pauline Jatho, wife of Marcellus Foster. Jane Zinn, daughter of a Revolutionary War soldier and his wife, was born in Georgia in 1814, married in 1832, mother of thirteen children (including two doctors and an attorney), and was married to butcher John Foster in Augusta.
