Marie is wearing a very stylish hat! She and Dolores have a great fashion sense. This photo was taken shortly after Alva and his family had moved to Southern California. Al Jr. remained in Chicago before relocating to Florida, and Marie and her husband Walter eventually moved to Omaha, Nebraska.
