Likely photographed in Omaha and copied in Chicago, cabinet card, Mathis Studio. Alfred and Louis were two of the Petersen brothers who emigrated to Nebraska in 1878. Alfred and Louis remained in Nebraska while siblings Andrew and Catharina moved to Kenosha and Chicago, respectively.
